Terms of service
These terms cover your use of this website and TechMAC's products, including Go Digital and ABOS, and how our solutions and services are ordered and delivered.
01About these terms
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you order a solution or service, the scope and price we agree with you in writing also form part of the agreement between us. Where the two differ, the agreed scope applies.
02Who our products are for
Go Digital is a multi-tenant content management and ordering platform for local businesses. ABOS is an operating system for a business, bringing together CRM, finance, HR, projects, documents, communication and a public website. Both are for businesses and organisations, and the people they authorise, who want a product run or supported by us. You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for your business.
03Orders and scope
An order placed through this website is a request. Nothing is charged, and no work starts, until we have confirmed the scope, hours and price with you.
Services are charged by the hour at the rate shown on the service page, with the plan discount that applies to the hours agreed. Estimates are indicative; the agreed scope is what we deliver and invoice against.
Work outside the agreed scope, including custom add-ons, is quoted separately and only goes ahead once you agree.
04Go Digital plans
Go Digital plans are ordered through the Go Digital platform at the monthly price and set-up fee shown for the plan. The features included are those listed for the plan when you order.
05Accounts and acceptable use
Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for what is done with your account and for the content you publish through it.
Do not use the service for anything unlawful, to publish content you have no right to, to send spam, or to try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the platform or to another customer's data.
06Connecting your Google account
You can choose to connect a Google account to one of our products so it can use the Google services you approve, such as Search Console, Business Profile, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar and Meet. You decide the permissions on Google's own screen and can disconnect at any time from the product or at myaccount.google.com/permissions. What each product can access, and how we handle that data, is set out on our Google access and data page and in our privacy policy.
07Payment
Invoices are issued as agreed for your order and are payable by the due date on the invoice. We may pause work on an overdue account until it is settled.
08Your content and responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, and for having the right to supply any content, data or access we need to do the work.
You keep ownership of your own content and data. Unless agreed otherwise, the deliverables we build for you are yours once they are paid for.
09Using this website
Please use the website lawfully and do not try to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access to it, or misuse the chat assistant. The content on this website belongs to TechMAC or its licensors and may not be copied for commercial use without our permission.
10Suspension and ending the service
You can stop using the service at any time by telling us. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if an account stays unpaid after we have reminded you, or where the law requires it. When the service ends we disconnect any Google account, delete the stored Google token, and on request give you a copy of your content.
Contact us at system@techmac.co.uk or TechMAC, 147 Ilkeston Rd, Nottingham NG7 3HE.
11Disclaimer of warranties
Except as set out in these terms or required by law, the service is provided as it is and as available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that data from Google, such as Search Console data, will always be available, since it depends on Google.
12Our liability
We take care to deliver services with reasonable skill and care. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order.
The chat assistant (Amber) gives general guidance and can make mistakes. It does not create a contract, and prices and scope are only those we confirm to you.
13Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page applies when you use the website or place an order. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
